ART TELLS A STORY

Stories have been told in art form for a very long time. From cave drawings depicting stories 30,000 years ago, to the Paleolithic era (stone age) rock engravings.

Art is a powerful means of communication that captures moments in time and social ideas. It has the power to educate people and entertain. It can also influence the way people think about the World and how they see themselves. It gives voice to individualism and self-expression. It tells a story about the artist who created it but also those who have come to embrace and possess it. It evokes emotions and provides beauty, colour and decoration.

Artist Miro Wrobel has created abstract and contemporary art for Lila and Me. All artworks have been carefully transferred to scarves with high accuracy and detail. The stories of each individual scarf are based on observations and interpretations of life, characterised by expressive use of colour, brush strokes, etchings and contoured forms.

Miro’s style of art is distinct which we share with you through our scarves. From canvas to scarf - the stories behind each scarf:

Festive Treats: celebrates family - a time of indulgence, celebration and joyful cheer.

Garden Lady: embraces all that is good, natural and healthy about nature and our well-being.

Park Bench: a place of tranquillity and reflection of life’s moments.

Spellbound Glare: invites you to embrace who you are because beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.

The Limelight: embraces an abstract, feminine movement where style is an attitude - the World is your stage.

The Vineyard: celebrates the diversity of Australian wine regions.

Lila and Me scarves are an expression of individuality that is timeless. See your beauty shine when you wear a unique silk scarf made from the finest quality silk fabric - 6A grade. Your story is just beginning!
